Upgrade existing linear fluorescent lighting systems warehouse, retail and other commercial spaces for maximum energy and cost savings with GE Lighting's family of LED Tubes. Available in two product types, these 4-foot LED T8 linear tube lamps provide an energy cost savings of 61% over a five year period, compared to traditional 4-lamp T8 light fixtures.
The Type A LED Tube is GE's easiest to install, thanks to its integrated Lightech™ driver. This driver allows the tube to operate in most existing linear fluorescent ballasts, making installation a very simple process -- just swap the old tube for the new! There are no structural or electrical modifications that need to be made. And the Type C LED Tube works with a remote Lightech driver, meaning there's a bit of that needs to be done during installation. However, the Type C makes up for it in performance, providing the greatest system efficacy and overall performance.
Both types of LED Tubes are rated to last for up to 50,000 hours. Luminosities of between 2,100 to 2,200 lumens are offered, as well as three color temperature to choose from -- 3500K, 4000K or 5000K. And all the LED Tubes are are UL approved and in compliance with UL 1598 certification.
