Howard Lighting's VSA4, VSA4 garage application, and VSA8 series are designed for use in public access, car washes, food processing, beverage industry, parking structures, construction sites, industrial lighting, and entrance lighting. All models in these series feature a one-piece upper body to eliminate cracks, breaks, or leaks, reinforced fiberglass for strength and corrosion resistance, and are 5VA flammability rated. They also feature an average of $9.43 energy savings per year per fixture.
The VSA4 series operates up to 3 T8 or T5HO lamps with a standard Howard Ballast. This series has 4 different options to choose from for the diffuser material. These are: Option A which is a 100% virgin impact resistant acrylic with long lasting clarity and weather resistant, Option P for UV stabilized polycarbonate that offers maximum impact resistance, Option D which has a clear acrylic deep lens that is impact resistant with diffused ends, or Option F for a frosted acrylic deep lens that is impact resistant . The VSA4 Garage application series offers both option D and F and the VSA8 series uses 100% virgin impact resistant acrylic and operates 1 to 6 lamps with a standard Howard ballast.
The VFP series is designed for use in meat or prepared food processing plants, canning plants, bottling plants, pharmaceutical plants, car washes, and any area that requires exposure to heavy hose-downs and caustic cleaning chemicals. This fixture features a clear, acrylic, water-resistant tube with a smooth water shed design that is made for easy cleaning. The water-resistant seal is achieved by compressing the tube between 2 fully gasketed end caps and stainless steel hardware, making theses fixtures optimal for the food processing industry.

The VSA4 and and VSA8 series vaporproof fluorescent strip fixture lines are fully gasketed to resist moisture and dust. These fixtures operate up to 3 to 6 lamps and come standard with a Howard Ballast. The VFP series is the food processing industry premiere fixture with its sealed tubular design. These fixtures are UL listed and the ballasts are electronic class P type.
