The LED Type V Area Light by RAB Lighting is a high-output LED pole top area fixture that provides light in an IES Type V circular distribution. Light is emitted in a balanced 360-degree pattern that makes this particular fixture a great solution for outdoor applications at corporate parks, parking lots, retail settings.
The fixture uses either 52 or 78 watts of power to emit either 3000K, 4000K or 5000K color light for up to 100,000 hours. The fixture uses high output LEDs that work well for many years thanks to its excellent heat sinking due to its external air-flow fins. It has a minimum starting temperature of -40°F/-40°C and is suitable for use in 40°C (104°F) ambient temperatures.
The LED Type V Area Light is built to last, made of precision die-cast aluminum with extruded aluminum support arms and high-temperature silicone gasket. The entire fixture is further protected by a polyester powdercoat with either a bronze or white finish. It is UL listed for use in wet locations, IP66 rated for dust and water, and DLC rated.
