Upgrade existing fluorescent fixtures -- but keep the look of a fluorescent fixture -- with MaxLite's ECO-T™ LED Recessed Troffer. The troffer uses a classes recessed troffer housing, but uses LED strips providing greater energy savings and all the other benefits of LED lighting.
Recently named a "Money-Saving Product" by BUILDINGS magazine, the troffer allows you to save money in the long-run because it is specially designed for use in drop ceilings in both commercial and institutional applications, from warehouses to schools. The housing and back panel of the fixture are sheet steel, providing excellent heat sink and thermal control capabilities for even greater savings. And maintenance is easy thanks to a room-side lensed access door giving full access to the LED strips.
The fixture is available in a variety of luminosities and color temperatures, with the largest at 4,903 with 5000K. Light lasts for 50,000 hours, and up to 20 panels can be linked together to operate as one. The troffer also puts light where you want it -- 90% of the emitted light is projected downward in a 60-degree beam angle to light is effectively projected right to tabletops and surfaces.
