The linear LED T8 lamps from Howard Lighting are perfect for use in merchandise displays, offices, general lighting, or any building that prefers environmentally friendly and cost saving lighting. These non-flickering LED lamps are ideal for hard to reach, high vibration, and refrigerator/ freezer applications. These lamps have minimal heat emission and low lumen depreciation, so they last longer with their 50,000 average life.
These lamps are a direct replacement for fluorescent T8 fixtures, so they work with existing fluorescent T8 lamp fixtures and instant start ballasts. They do not contain any mercury or UV or infrared light, are ETL tested, and comply with OSHA safety standards. Installation is as simple as changing a light bulb since there is no rewiring required. The energy saved is an average of over 375,000 watts over the life of the lamp and $11.65 saved per year for each new fixture, a 20% savings.
Howard Lighting's linear LED T8's work with instant start ballasts, so they are independent of the ballast operating voltage of 120, 277, 347 volts. These lamps produce a 110 degree beam that evenly spreads out the illumination, providing instant brightness without any glare or hot spots. The linear LED T8 lamps auto-adjust to the corresponding ballast factor of 19 W or Low, 22 W or Standard, and 26 W or High. The new self-adjusted light output will meet or exceed the light it is replacing.
