Howard Lighting U-Bent Linear Fluorescent Lamps
Howard Lighting's linear fluorescent T8 U-Bent lamp features low mercury and energy savings. These lamps come in 25, 28, 31, and 32 watts. They color temperatures for these lamps include 3000K, 3500K, 4100K, and 5000K with a CRI of 75, 82, and 85. These fluorescent U-shaped lamps also come with different spacing sizes of 6" and 1-5/8".
These T8 U-Bent lamps have a medium bipin base, a tubular fluorescent lamp, and a T8 bulb. The rated lamp life is 24,000 hours based on 3 hours per start and 30,000 hours base on 12 hours per start. The u-shaped lamp life is affected when using dimming systems, dimmers, or occupancy sensors. Most models in this line meet the federal minimum efficiency standards and pass the Federal TCLP for hazardous waste.
The 25 and 28 watt model of the U-bent lamp may operate on energy saving 25W ballasts or instant start 32W electronic ballasts. These lamps are recommended to be used above 60 degrees F and are not recommended to be used on a dimming ballast or an inverter operated emergency lighting systems unless the equipment is listed for a 25 watt lamp specifically.
